What are the requirements to start using the solution?
You can use the solution whether you are a registered or a non-registered business.
For non-registered business, all you need is a copy of your ID card, proof of address, and a bank account in your name.
For registered businesses, in addition to an ID card and proof of address, you’ll also need your certificate of Registration or Incorporation issued by the Registrar of Companies, CR-12 document, KRA PIN and a corporate bank account.
How long will it take for me to start accepting payments after sign up?
You can start accepting payments 24hrs after submitting an activation request.
How much will it cost me to use this solution?
The solution only makes money when you do.
You'll be charged a fee of 1.5% per M-Pesa transaction, 2.9% per local card transaction, and 3.8% per international card and Apple Pay transactions.
How do I see the money that I have been paid?
You'll be given access to a dashboard with detailed reporting, alerts, and exports, so you and your team are always on top of business. Some of the features of the dashboard are:

How secure is this solution?
The solution possesses a Payment Service Provider (PSP) Commercial Licence from the Central Bank of Kenya. It is also on the Visa PCI DSS-certified service provider database and Mastercard Payment Facilitator database (select the Middle East/Africa tab and navigate to "Paystack").
Paystack’s combination of automated and manual fraud systems protect you from fraudulent transactions and associated chargeback claims.
Which currencies does the solution support?
You can collect payments and get settled in KES or USD.
How will I get my money after receiving payments?
You'll automatically receive your money in your bank account within 72 hours after a payment is made. Settlement is done before 12 PM, every day.
Can I receive payments from outside Kenya?
Yes, you can accept payments from international customers, wherever they are in the world.
